3 fold promotacard

1. Goods mean the articles or things described in the contract between Promocards and the purchaser.
2. These conditions shall be deemed to be incorporated in all contracts of Promocards to sell goods and in the case of any inconsistency with any order or form of contract sent by the purchaser to Promocards whatever may be their respective dates the provision of these Conditions shall prevail unless expressly varied in writing and signed by a director on behalf of Promocards.
3. Notwithstanding that Promocards may have given a detailed quotation no order shall be binding on Promocards unless and until it has been accepted in writing by Promocards.
4. Any times or dates given for completion or delivery of goods shall be binding on Promocards, insofar as Promocards undertake to carry out additional work for the purchaser to the value of the print element of any goods not supplied on time. Such liability shall not extend to delays beyond the control of Promocards including, without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing defects in files or omissions of information delays in approval of proofs and non-performance of carriers.
5. By their nature goods do not have a redeemable value and no refunds or credits for goods correctly supplied will be entertained.
6. One design will be produced to clients brief allowing for three changes within the design. No refunds are given if designs are not acceptable.
7. a) All goods shall be paid for at the time of order.
   b) No goods shall be dispatched or collection allowed until paid for in full.
   c) All prices are exclusive of Value Added Tax and this will be charged at the appropriate rate.
8. a) Any shortcomings or defects in goods supplied must be notified to Promocards within 3 days of delivery. Such goods must be returned to Promocards for inspection.
   b) Nothing herein shall impose any liability upon Promocards in respect of any defect in the goods arising out of the acts, omissions, negligence or default of the Purchaser, its servants or agents including without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing handling and storage of the goods.
   c) Nothing herein shall have the effect of excluding or restricting the liability of Promocards:
   i.) For death or personal injury resulting from its negligence insofar as the same is prohibited by U.K. statute, or;
   ii.) Under sections 12,13,14 and 15 of the Sale of Goods Act 1979 to a purchaser who is dealing with a customer (as defined by section 12 of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977).
9. Promocards shall not be liable for any costs, claims or damage arising out of any act of tort or omission or breach of contract or statutory duty calculated by reference to profits, income production or accruals or loss of such profits, income production or accruals or by reference to accrual of such, claim, damages or expenses on a time basis.
10. The liability of Promocards to the purchaser for any loss or damage of whatsoever nature and howsoever caused shall be limited to and in no circumstances exceed the price of the goods.
11. If the purchaser shall be in breach of any of their obligations under the contract Promocards may (without prejudice to Promocards rights subsequently to determine the contract for the same cause should it so decide) suspend further deliveries of goods without notice until any defaults by the purchaser are remedied.
12. No statement, description, information, warranty or recommendation contained in any catalogue, price list, advertisement or communication or made verbally by any of the agents or employees of Promocards shall be construed to enlarge, vary or override in any way these conditions.
13. Any concessions made or latitude allowed by Promocards to the purchaser shall not affect the strict rights of Promocards under the contract. If in any particular case any of these conditions shall be held to be invalid or shall not apply to the contract the other conditions shall continue in full force and effect.
14. Upon sight of artwork and at its sole discretion Promocards reserve the right to decline to print any item it deems to be inappropriate. Any payments made for work rejected by reason of this clause will be refunded in full.
15. The contract shall in all respects be governed by English law and shall be deemed to have been made in England and the purchaser and Promocards agree to submit to nonexclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Can I print a special size or something completely different?

We can print any size on various materials and finishes. The idea of the Promocards is that they are credit card size – therefore more likely to be kept, also it something that one can easily carry around in a wallet or purse. Let us know the details of what you require and we will give you a quote look at our online printing guide for leaflets, posters, letterhead, envelopes and more.

Do you design logos?

Yes, we have designed lots of logos. We can also recreate your existing logo if you don’t have a version that is high enough quality for print. If you would like us to design a logo we will need to quote you a separate price. Talk to us about what you want and we will be happy to give you some advice.

What quantity can I have printed?

It’s really simple, the more cards you have printed, and the cheaper the price is per card. If you require a quantity that is not on our price guide, let us know and we will give you a tailored quote. If you have a design that just requires a small quantity of prints like an invitation, let us know and we can give you a quote for digital printing.

What kind of images do you need? I have photos and a logo to put on my card, what format do you need them in?

All images that you supply ideally need to be high resolution, 300dpi. Alternatively you can supply us with a hard copy and we will scan it in for you. We also have access to experienced photographers if you require shots of your business for your card. Call us for a quote.

Can I design my own card?

We can only print from a print-ready pdf but yes, we would love to know your ideas, by all means create a design in whatever format you can and we can convert it for a small cost. It can really help our designers to get a feel for your business if you provide us with swatches, colours or samples of designs you like. We aim to always create clean, original designs for all our customers no matter how big or small they are.

I want to get several things printed, do you offer package deals on cards, letterheads etc?

We can print anything! The more you need printing, the better deal we can offer you. Let us know your requirements and we will do our best for you.

How long will it take to receive my cards?

Once you have approved the final design, our standard turn around is 5/6 working days. If you have an urgent job, for an extra charge we can do express delivery – give us a call and let us know your requirements.

How do you deliver?

We use special delivery service via courier using FEDEX and TNT. Please let us know if you have any special delivery instructions.

Are these digitally printed?

The Promocards are all full colour printed on state of the art Roland, KBA and Heidelberg Lithographic Printing Presses.

I have downloaded some images from the internet – can you print from these?

For best results we need pictures to be supplied at 300dpi and saved in CMYK colour. Most images found online are saved in RGB colour at 72 dpi, so whilst we could print from them the results would be very poor.
